When will my listing be live?

It generally takes 7-14 business days to get you live on Google and Yahoo, and 7-45 business days for Bing (MSN)  *Bing is new and submission times should decrease shortly. Once there, your ranking will continue to increase in time.

Will my monthly rate ever go up?

No. As mentioned, our program is month to month. Once enrolled our rates are guaranteed never to increase for as long as you are with the company. If at any time you decide to cancel services, we have NO cancellation fees or penalties.  We only ask that you contact our Customer Support 1 week before your bill date. 

Can our listing be bumped off?

While there is some variance and your placement will not always rank the same, we only work with one business per industry, per city. Period. It's our top priority to keep our customers happy, with the highest placement possible so we may continue to earn your business. Remember our services are month to month with no contract.

What do you mean by Manual Submission?

Manual submission means that our technician physically types in each website, as well as manually types out all business information to be published. We do this for all services we provide whether it be search engines, directory's, or web pages created. Steer clear of SEO software that "submits" your website to several areas. Why? Search engines consider automated submission as spam; they will devalue your site and potentially ban your site from their index.

What if I need to change information with my account?

We can handle that for you. As part of your monthly service, we update your account at no charge. Call or email us at info@AffordableLocalListings.com and we can update your listing. Please make sure to include detailed instructions about the changes in written format. We will process your request right away, but it can take a while for the changes to take effect across the Search Engines.

How many keywords can I have?

The general rule is 10-15 keywords. Some listings allow you to have more or less in some instances. Rest assured all available space will be filled with relevant content about your business. Keywords are chosen by our professionals, based upon consumer demand. We also accept suggestions for your own keywords.

Can I list my company in another city even though my company is not located there?

No. For all of our products we require a physical address in the city. If you supply us with another physical address that you own, we will be able to list in another city for you. Our limit is one customer per industry, per city and you will have to check availability.

Why is my business achieving rankings on some key phrases and not others?

It may take longer to achieve rankings on some key phrases due to popularity and local saturation. There are many variables that determine ranking success. You can be sure that Affordable Local Listings will be monitoring your ranking success and working hard to get your business to the top.

How do I find my listing?

Please call customer service to discuss your rankings. Step by step instructions will be provided upon sign up, but if you need additional help, please feel free to give us a call.  You may also download instructions here. Download Instructions

What is my coverage area?

Your coverage area will include the city your business is listed in. Sometimes you'll find yourself listed in surrounding cities as well, but there are no assurances and it will depend on the competitiveness of your industry and the location. The local listings will also show up by zip code as well.

How will I be billed each month?

You will be billed each month on the card account you signed up with initially. Remember, we don't have long-term contracts or commitments and we must keep you satisfied in order to continue earning your business.

What if I don't have a website?

No problem. As part of the Premium and Standard packages, you'll receive your own one page website profile. These templates may be customized with your content, pictures and business information.  Or let our professionals design one for you! All content will be relevant to your business, and keywords will be strategically placed for optimization purposes.
